PLEASE NOTE: There have been some unanticipated delays with the completion of this book. On the morning of 5/14 my daughter was involved in a very serious accident getting t-boned by a semi while turning out of our driveway on her way to school. I witnessed the entire thing unfold in horrifying detail. Remarkably she walked away mostly uninjured thanks to God’s grace. For several weeks later that incident stirred raw emotions inside me that has forced me to put the completion of the book on the proverbial “back burner” for now. In fact, Chapter 32 (the final chapter) will be dedicated to that particular event recalling the traumatic feelings of dealing with a family member in need of emergency services. Up until that point the book writing process was fun…but after that incident I just needed some time to step back and not think about such weighty matters.
